283-The W’S in the Life of an Unsaved Person (The Preacher)

WHO?

Look into the mirror and tell me whom do you see?
Is that the Image you want others to see?
Is it the outside only?
Do you hide the inside?
Who do you pretend to be if not yourself?
Is your self-esteem a carbon copy of someone else?
By what stander do you identify with?
Are you living a myth?

WHAT?

What is in your heart?
Do you seek greatness in this world?
Is fame the name of the game?
What are your passions?
Popularity
Appearance
Sucess
Need to be in fashion?
Will a PHD solve the issue?
Or maybe worldly service
Or being a philanthropist
Is being visible based on accomplishments?
Does losing all make you nervous?
What is in your heart?
Ask yourself!
Who gave you these gifts?
Where does your greatness lie?

WHERE

Where does your greatness lie?
To whom do you owe your success?
Is your love mixed with vanity?
Is your life full of pomp and circumstance?
Willing to take chances
Dispite failures and faults
Climbing the latter of success
Ignoring all the rest
Or
Do you exhibit loneliness with humility?
Or do you take us for fools
When you speak the golden rule?

WHEN?

From birth till death
What is your life worth?
When you’re buried in the earth
The secrets that you keep
Buried in the deep
We can only guess
Will they ever give you rest?

WHY?

Why was your faith based only on what you see?
Is seeing believing
You never believed in blind faith
Do you believe now?
Has your faith given you eternal rest?
Did your life assure your destiny?
Are you where you belong?
Destiny is funny
When left to one’s discretion
Has lead you in the wrong direction
Where you are now, I can only guess
*****************************************
“For he cometh in with vanity, departed in darkness and his name
shall be covered with darkness. Moreover he hath not seen the sun nor
known anything this hath more rest than the other.”

Ecclesiastes 6 1-12

“Good beats upon the damned incessantly as sound waves beat
on the ears of the deaf, but they cannot receive it.Their fists are
clenched, their teeth are clenched, their eyes are fast shut. First they
will not, in the end they cannot open their hands for gifts, or
their mouth for food, or their eyes to see,”
C.S.Lewis (1898-1963)
