When the twilight appears And the day’s put to rest Your thoughts are your own To ponder alone
No one talks about it As if it’s taboo That mortality that Lives inside you
You awaken to that deep darkness The darkness that follows The darkness that swallows
You wake up in a cold sweat You cogitate on the sound of your last beat The sigh of your final breath But it will keep You put it to sleep For it can wait Life’s expiration date
Loving one is beautiful Loving two is grand Never dreamt never planed But to whom do you offer your hand?
No one lives with an indecisive heart A procrastinating heart will tear you apart Torn between, you soon discover that You became a disenchanted lover You realize to discern is something you have to learn It therefore becomes no surprise when you surmise Holding on to two is hard to do Letting go of one can’t be done No matter who you choose You will always lose
Do you really find love in your dreams? Do you really find love at first sight? Do you really find love when you wish on a star? Do you really find love if your heart tells you so? Do you really find love in your very first kiss? A memory you just can’t dismiss
Do you really find love in the morning dew? April showers, fragrance of spring. Garden flowers, a walk in the park, sunshine after a summer rain, Warmth of a winter’s fire,or the touch of winter snow? Are these the times that tell you so
Many follow their dreams looking for love Others follow their hearts while others do not know where to start But here’s a question I believe to be true Do you really fine love or those love find you?
Tears of silence Flood the room Surrounded stares Sighing declares
You have one thought As you lie and wait Voices you here Are not so clear
Dreams disappear No longer needed Life is still No longer pleaded
Prayers in the room Rise above Joy and sorrow Mixed with love
You stretch out your hand You hear but can’t see You feel the touch That means so much
Your memories are locked No more to be made Shadows of family Begin to fade
You cling to your faith As you always do Looking for peace and rest Waiting for you
The angel came Quenched the flame Escorted you to heaven In your Savior’s name ***********************************
“The righteous perish and no one ponders it in his heart; Devout men are taken away and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; They find rest as they lie in death.”

As life begins to unfold Who’s in control? Reach the fork in the road Good or bad Right or wrong You follow along
One step in Lets it begin The entrance is sealed No turning back
You follow the road Its twists and turns Stops and detours One-way By-way My-way
A voice A choice A decision A division
The steps you follow Right or wrong Leads you to a place Where you belong
The roads are different But outcome the same Never knowing what you’re face’n Is predestination

My quiet refuge has now been awakened The places I loved have now been taken It used to be when it was vacant My tranquility was never forsaken
A place to meditate Sober reality A place to contemplate On one’s reality
Watching the wildlife scampering by Those in the undergrowth others on the fly Sitting for hours To join the beauty of the flowers
Tree climbing trees Back drop for poses Rocky cliffs A waterfall Cameras flashing to capture it all However!
Sharing it with others Makes us all nature’s brothers Nature makes us all a kin It awakens the blessings that lie within *********************************** “Let the fields and their crops Burst out with joy Let the trees of the forest Sing for joy’ Psalm 96:12(NLT)
Pause for the moments The day is gone Life journeys on Ascend the hill Looking back Feet no longer touch the ground
Growing old together Fond dreams and memories Time spent apart Sweet memories of the heart
Renew those moments Caress the past Life’s moments Life doesn’t last
The day is gone Sweetness to sorrow Never to meet Never to borrow
Fallen asleep soft Moments to keep Where do they lie? No time to cry No time to weep No time to say goodbye ********************************* Mezzo Cammin
“Though halfway up the hill I see the past lying beneath me with sounds and sights, a city in the twilight dim and vast, with smoking roofs ,soft bells and gleaming lights and hear above me on the autumnal blast the cataract of Death far thundering from the heights,”
