Character defines greatness Do you: LIE Cheat Gossip Disgrace others Ruin reputations Show contempt Etc.etc.etc. As you look down below Is this how you reaped what you sowed? Only yourself can change yourself ****************************************** “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit but with humility of mind regard one another As more important than yourself Do not merely look out for your personal interests But also for the interests of others” Philippians 2:3-4bs
(1) A sigh and a touch can mean so much A longing embrace a kiss on the face In her heart she could never replace
(2) The Woman She saw him one night and her heart was his Her eyes hypnotized frozen in time A turn of a head and she caught his eye A momentary glance that seem forever She felt her body shake as he came nearer Her thoughts wondering a moment of anxiety Her trembling lips stammering for a word Something to say something to be heard The sound of his voice quickened her heart His coming closer stirred up hidden passion Feelings uncontrollable all inhibition dashed
(3) They talked for hours and then for days The weeks flew by His charms inspired his looks amazed She clung to his every thought his every desire Nothing it seemed would ever quench her heart on fire Every kiss brought a fulfillment of every wish She could not claim herself for herself belonged to him His thoughts her thoughts his needs her needs Lost in a timeless moment nothing would ever exceed BUT! A woman’s intuition can always sense The condition of a man’s disposition
(4) He left while still in love His desires divided his heart torn between He left her behind A memory left to dream
(5) The Man He caught her stare that night His eyes piercing him to the marrow An attraction he could not resist Feelings he could not dismiss He walked toward her His heart leading the way Each step another thought What would he say? His closeness brought a scent of perfume His eyes fixed as if she was the only person in the room Her voice stilled his heart entrapped in the moment set apart They talked for hours and then for days The weeks flew by Her charms inspired her looks amazed She was his he was hers A love defined on every word The touch of her lips on his The touch of her hand on his face an infinite embrace (6) But! Love seems to know when it is time to leave Both departed in different direction taking along each other’s affections On that night love left without a trace (7) No one knows when love will come or if it remains or when it goes All we have is the magic it awakens when two can find The secret to unlock the mysteries that love wishes to bestow Two joined at the heart never ever part For a love’s heart knows nothing of time Time can never replace what love can’t deny For love is stronger than time itself
Of Reaching for scarlet skies Searching for midnight blue In times of sorrow In times of sadness Looking for times of gladness Looking for times of happiness Each constellation tells a tale Of the north star that never fails But ! To find contentment in your life You must
Search far beyond Before life and hope are gone For! On your journey’s end all you have is faith and love To depend up ************************************************ “The world is looking for spectacular happiness While they snub contentment” Doug Larson
On the street of dreams where dreams go to die Stood an old empty book store Curiosity got a hold of me to see more I spotted an old dusty book Laying on the shelf all by itself I enquired about it but was told To read it myself I cannot give you any help I picked it up The binding was torn The pages were yellow and worn I carefully opened the cover of the book A misty odor over took The dedication was no longer visible Just the letters For M.P.T.G Every page had the words” Time Waits..” The last page was missing. I said to myself Has the story ended? Has the play played on? Has the music faded away? Has the poem lost its rhyme? Has romance become nonexistent? Have all things come to an end? You turned the pages I burned the book It said: Your yes is your yes your no is your no There’s no middle ground Time waits for a decision Eternity and forever are not part of time Your time is the only time you have You make your choices count or you will no longer rhyme And so it is Or you keep turning the pages ************************************************** “I said to my soul be still, and wait without hope for hope would be hope for the wrong thing” T.S.Elliot
Unrequited Love: This is a story without an ending A play with no rehearsal A poem with no verse A song with no sound A love with no romance
No chance to; Look into each other’s eyes Caress each other’s face Kiss each other’s lips Squeeze hands Share glances
Love understood: Love is a vapor quick to disappear Lost in the universe A blessing or a curse What can be worse? To seek what you do not possess Your heart needs to address.
What’s done is done; Love without an ending Is not worth defending Hope that is futile Will make your life brutal Unfurl the page and do not engage ***************************** Will you forever ever be My P.T. Girl?
“Better by far you should forget and smile Then that you should remember and be sad” Christina Rossetti
Who’s to know?’ Who’s to say? As we go from day to day To find our circumstances in And a new chapter begin
Saw her once Had to stay I knew there was No other way
“Only heaven could have painted her face” Her olive complexion Needs no correction. Those beautiful eyes How they hypnotize Her inviting lips Hide the sweetness of her tongue Her long black hair accents her face There’s no one else among.. Who can take her place.
Never underestimate her ability She has nothing to prove To whom should we compare her to? Who else has a 5-star rating?
Years slide quietly away Time becomes the enemy Days are short No time to be No time to carve our initials On the “Sweetheart Tree”
Dreams give way to reality Reality gives way to destiny But as the pages begin to unfurl She will forever be My P.T.Girl ************************** Only God knows the end from the beginning
65 Grove is the street where old friends meet Memories collide as you walk side by side Every step a step in the past Half of our lives are gone Yet, we cling to our youth to inspire us to move on Lessons taught Lessons learned Life does not lead us to the grave We are told to let the dead bury the dead WE walk with accomplishment and pride And hope to meet again on the other side ************************************ “True friends are those you have not seen in years, but feels like you were never apart” author unknow
Beware of the leaven of the hypocrites The more you feed them the more they grow Whose masks grow to fit their faces Creating your happiness on others opinions Robbing your self-esteem Playing on your emotions Letting others control your life Taking away your self-control Identify the mask Identify the face. The mask will soon fall off
Beware of the leaven of the masked people
Intelects: Who want you all to think alike in a population not very intelligent Teachers: teaching our precious resources they bow to others and follow the lead of the teacher’ unions under political pressure to keep their jobs Religious Leaders: Who treat people like things this is the beginning of religious slavery Politicians: no debate slander becomes a weapon stupidity becomes an honored virtue lies become truths Others: Born without masks Children tend to wear them at play many are dropped at maturity while many see them as an advantage in life and are determined to keep them fixed until they as are identified as to whom they really are ************************************************************ “I was ashamed of myself when I realized life was a costume party and I attended with my real face.” Franz Kafka
” We wear the mask that grins and lies It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes This debt we pay to human guile With torn and bleeding hearts we smile And mouth with myriad subtleties” D.L. Dunbar
Not so many guys can be as lucky as I was She was my soul sister oh how I miss her! Throughout our youth always together always in touch Counting on each other meant so much. Always there when I needed her so My stress and worries seemed to go Forever friends Never romance Never thought of taking a chance OF destroying our friendship we took a stance
As the years passed on we somehow lost touch It seems we no longer needed that crutch We parted our ways never a clue never a trace Love comes in different ways I’m so glad we felt that way To build a relationship that goes beyond No one can be as fortunate as we To live our lives separately
I pray that all is well The Good Book says, “You reap what you sow” My life has shown this to be true for real This poem proves just how I feel
“Slow down you move too fast Got to make the moments last Just kicking down the gobble stones Look for fun and feeling groovy” Simon and Garfunkel
AS age increases slowing down is more like slow motion Sometimes you watch the world like you’re watching a movie De ja-vu Da ja -vu Feelings of unrealness Cherish the moments you make Never try to forsake them
Find yourself time to unwind Be in the moment Let no one or something take over your thoughts Follow no rabbet trails in life Be anxious for nothing Let exercise be your thing Eat at your favorite restaurant Whatever you want Let life be your thing ******************************* “Life I love you All is groovy”
