Apologize for your behavior Show mercy Ask for her forgiveness Forgive yourself Show compassion Action with meekness Be truthful Pay more attention Never take her for granted Show humility. Be yourself Leave in peace Never have to regret doing nothing. Words without action is the wrong reaction You have nothing unless you have love Love from your heart Life without love is not very smart ***************************************** “Unless you have forgiven others you read your own death warrant when you repeat the Lord’s Prayer” C.H. Spurgeon (1834-1892)
Where does youth go? Must we depend on our memory? Do we need to reminisce? Must we depend on recollections? Do old photos freeze us in time? Does man’s mortality make it so? No need to pretend No! No! No! For I see my lost youth In the eyes of my friends *************************************** “You can’t go home again. Your childhood is lost. The friends of your youth are gone. Your present is slipping away from you. Nothing is ever the same.”
If you could read my mind What would you be likely to find? Words I would never use Thoughts that I abuse How and why I pretend Why the longings never end Why being so proud Never lets me cry out loud Spirits from my past that Haunt me still Why I’m held against my will Why love has evaded still By turning each page you’ll soon realize That reading someone’s mind May not be very wise
The tears that I sow Are for the sorrows that I reap The tears that flow remind me so Of the memories I keep The tears that stream across my cheek Flow down like a river ever so deep
The taste of my tears that caress my parched lips Each one satisfying a thirst From the pride that has always been my curse Leaving tracks so that others follow Bitter- sweet A taste too difficult to swallow
I pray for oil to flow down my head But all I’m left with are my tears instead Tears that leave me deep in sadness Tears that leave me close to madness So, I’ll go on weeping sowing in tears Waiting for the day when I’ll reap a harvest Of joy and gladness
They say you’re a hopeless romantic Your dreams will never come true To count on fate to supply a mate Is only reserved for a few But you continue to dream your dreams For dreams never dreamt will never come true For love will be yours if you forever believe With tearing eyes and momentary sighs You’ll forever wear your heart on your sleeve
They say true love is just for dreamers The search you search is in vain After your journey is over You are left with nothing but pain But Take the risk Take the chance Believe in love Follow your quest for love and romance And some day you’ll find your dream

CHRISTMAS DAY
Parents asleep We silently creep Passed their door On to the parlor floor Head straight to the tree On our knees Check the stockings filled with: Figs walnuts chestnuts Under the tree were unwrapped gifts (No one wrapped presents in my house) We were never disappointed (Mom and Dad never Exchange gifts) We played with our toys all day Neighbers stopped in for drinks Hungry relatives came for Christmas dinner Alwas giving us money Before dessert(expresso and pastries) you can hear the Snoring coming from the parlor Soon the day was coming to a close With no kisses or hugs all went their separate ways Until next year Those were happy days The days I remember in my memories and dreams Nothing today is as it seems All are gone but the past lives on ************************************* “Therefore the lord Himself will give you a sign Behold a virgin will be with child and bear a son And she will call his name Immanual”
It’s not about the things you collect But about the things you cannot forget Kept in time Your time These are the things I mention All part of my recollection
